Privacy policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026.

MyBillQR is built and run by an independent developer, not a registered company. This policy is written on that basis and is governed by the laws of Nepal.

What we collect

Your account (email), business details (name, address, PAN/VAT, phone), the QR image or payload you upload, invoices you create, and the customers and products you save — including any contact details (name, phone, email, address) you enter for your own customers. Customers who open an invoice link don't need an account; we only store what's needed to render that invoice.

Customer data you enter

If you save a customer's name, phone, email or address to create an invoice, you're responsible for having the right to store and share that information with us for that purpose. Don't enter data about someone if you don't have a legitimate reason to bill them.

What we never ask for

We never ask for your mobile banking username, password, or OTP for your bank account. The only OTP we send is for logging into MyBillQR itself. MyBillQR is not a payment provider — payments go directly from your customer's bank or wallet app to your own linked account; we never touch the funds.

How invoices are protected

Each invoice link uses a random, unguessable id. Traffic between your browser and MyBillQR is encrypted (HTTPS). Invoice pages are read-only for the public; only you can edit or cancel an invoice from your dashboard.

Data sharing

We don't sell your data. We never touch payment funds, since payments go directly from your customer's bank or wallet to your own linked account.

Deleting your data

You can export or permanently delete your account and all its data (business, invoices, customers, products) from Settings at any time. To request deletion any other way, email us at the address below.
